About AUM

The Om/AUM symbol is the ultimate reality. For me, this is the most powerful of symbols when understood and what I wish to infuse and see more of into the world in the name of peace.

 

I managed to live my life in a deep sleep for nearly 50 years, unaware of my inner power. Unaware I had the capability to actually choose each thought, choose each feeling, choose my words.

 

Not knowing I had a power to create my responses so I simply reacted. I was powerless, hurt always, blaming, and living on auto pilot. It took a lifetime of cycles, of jarring trauma for me to search everywhere for peace.

 

I searched high and low, every form of therapy...until finding what I found to be truth.  We must dive deep into knowing and becoming experts of ourselves and realize we are not the experts of others or situations.  Then realize we will never be experts.

 

I developed a strong desire to change and master my body, mind, and spirit through spiritual practice... Daily meditation.

 

The awareness that we are not just bodies, we are eternal souls on our own independent journeys, yet all in this world together. To be stable in any situation of life is the highest goal and what I believe love is. This is a practice to remember daily for me and for everyone.

 

Understanding every aspect of the Om/Aum is fascinating. 

 

Our unconscious state, our conscious state, our subconscious, the illusions which keep us from our enlightenment. Taking a deep dive into learning about myself has been life changing, fascinating and freeing to understand that I do have a choice always, everyday, how I choose to be in life and how I will choose to perceive life. To take the time to be introspective and I am forever thankful for my lessons thus far which keep leading me back to AUM!
